Online Wallets

Online wallets are by far the easiest way to start using Bitcoins. But you’ll want to limit the amount of Bitcoins you store in an online wallet because you’re trusting the service will not be hacked or otherwise run off with your money. If you just keep enough in your online wallet to conveniently send small amounts, your risk is limited.

StrongCoin

Instawallet is the easiest and quickest way to start using Bitcoin. There are no passwords to remember and the interface is very intuitive.

StrongCoin is a more secure online wallet in that the keys to spend your Bitcoins are only stored in an encrypted form and only you have the ability to decrypt them. If StrongCoin is compromised, your Bitcoins remain secure. BTCinch is an easy to use wallet with the useful function of exchanging your Bitcoins to Dollars and withdrawing via Check, ACH, or Dwolla. BlockChain is a secure and feature rich online wallet. This is by far the most functional wallet and slightly more intuitive than StrongCoin. Your keys are encrypted at the server and only get decrypted for spending in your browser. It also allows you to create off-line wallets with ease.
