Merchant Services allow merchants to easily process Bitcoin transactions.
The most interesting service to come about recently is from Bit-Pay.com. They allow you to process your online shopping cart and brick-and-mortar transactions (using smart phones) and receive a convenient check or bank transfer in USD.

Also, several POS vendors are currently developing their Bitcoin strategies and will soon be supporting this new currency in their register systems.
