Bitcoin Meetups Meetup.com groups that focus on Bitcoin enthusiasts.
Freenode IRC Live chats/help about Bitcoin. If you don’t have an IRC client, use our Javascript Portal. Otherwise, login to a Freenode IRC server and join #Bitcoin channel. Use caution when dealing with people in IRC. Names are easily faked and communications are not private. You can learn more about authenticating people in IRC here.

Utilities
Name Description
 BitAddress.org This utility can be used to generate off-line Bitcoins keys and addresses. It allows you to print them to paper for easy reliable backup.
  Online Wallets
Name Description
 InstaWallet.org Easy to use online wallet. Never use this on a shared computer/login. Anyone with access to your wallet’s URL can spend your Bitcoins.
StrongCoin.com A more secure online wallet that doesn’t directly store the keys to your Bitcoins. Instead, it uses JavaScript in your browser to encrypt/decrypt the keys to your wallet as needed.
BTCinch.com  An easy to use online wallet. Your Bitcoins are protected by a password, so it’s generally more save to use on a shared computer/login. But since your Bitcoins are stored on the site, they are not under your direct control.
